- GLA will get a clarification on Section M of the construction drawings from the <br />design engineer regarding placement of the upper geomembrane in the anchor <br />trench. <br />- GLA is observing that Guinn is providing adequate moisture to the clay liner to <br />keep it from desiccating. <br />- Guinn will let GLA know their plans for seaming the geotextile (lyster, overlap, or <br />sew). <br />8. Health and safety/Environmental issues: <br />- Guinn/GLA/Republic reported no health and safety issues for the week. <br />- Guinn will continue to provide copies of the weekly tailgate safety meetings to <br />the Forward front office who will make copies and email to Lochlin. <br />- Republic provided copies of the previous health and safety meetings to GLA. <br />Copies have been attached to these meeting minutes. <br />- Guinn/Republic reported no dust control issues. <br />- GLA will continue to provide weekly progress reports and CQA reports to Ross at <br />the RWQCB. <br />- GLA stressed the importance of staying hydrated in the very warm weather. <br />9. Other items: 0 <br />-- Guinn will be taking July 4th and 5th off for the holiday. Comanco will continue to <br />work during this period. <br />- Ruben with Republic would like a 10% road built into the cell at the end of <br />construction to facilitate waste placement. Guinn will provide an estimate to <br />conduct this work. <br />- The existing tie-in on the southwest corner has geocomposite that has <br />undergone some degradation in the sun. Comanco, GLA, and Republic will go out <br />to this area and evaluate the geocomposite to determine if the material needs to be <br />replaced. <br />The weekly construction meeting for next week has been rescheduled for <br />Wednesday, July 10th at 11 am. <br />Forward Landfill WMU FU -13 <br />Progress Meeting Minutes Page 4 <br />
