i <br />Specifications. <br />• Verify that the geotextile was not exposed to direct sunlight for more than 5 days. <br />• Examine the geotextile after installation to ensure that no potentially harmful foreign <br />objects are present. <br />The QA/QC Inspector must inform both the QA/QC Manager and Earthwork Contractor if the above <br />conditions are not met. <br />4.3.4 Repairs <br />Repair procedures include: <br />• Patching --used to repair large holes, tears, and small defective areas. <br />• Removal --used to replace large defective areas where the preceding method is not <br />appropriate. <br />4.4 Geocomposite Drainage Net <br />4.4.1 Delivery <br />During delivery of geocomposite material the QA/QC Inspector will: <br />• Verify that equipment used to unload the rolls will not damage the geocomposite. <br />• Verify that care is used to unload the rolls. <br />• Verify that all documentation required by the Specifications has been received. <br />• Verify that each roll is marked or tagged with the following information: manufacturer's <br />name; project identification; lot number; roll number; roll dimensions. Log this <br />information on the geosynthetic receipt form. <br />• Verify that the geosynthetic receipt form is completed. <br />• Verify that materials are stored in a location that will protect the rolls from ultraviolet <br />light exposure, precipitation, mud, dirt, dust, puncture, cutting, or any other damaging or <br />deleterious conditions. <br />• Any damaged rolls maybe rejected.
