�J <br />6. Description_ of Potential Pollutant Bounces <br />a. The SWPPP shall_ include a narrative description of the <br />facility's industrial activities, as identified in Section <br />A.4.e above, associated potential pollutant sources, and <br />potential pollutants that could be discharged in storm <br />water discharges or authorized non -storm water discharges. <br />At a minimum, the following items related to a facility's <br />industrial activities shall be considered: <br />i. Indy. sO i al Processes <br />Describe each industrial process, the type, <br />characteristics, and quantity of significant <br />materials used in or resulting from the process, and <br />a description of the manufacturing, cleaning, <br />rinsing, recycling, disposal, or other activities <br />related to tIe process. Where applicable, areas <br />protected L containment structures and th-= <br />corresponding containment capacity shah be de.s< rib <br />ii. Material HandliIig and Storage Areas <br />Describe each dandling and storage area, type., <br />characteristics, and quantity of significant materials <br />handled or stared, description of the shipping, <br />receiving, and loading procedures, and the spill or <br />leak prevention and response procedures. Where <br />applicable, areas protected by containment structures <br />and the corresponding containment capacity shall be <br />described. <br />iii. Dust and Particulate Generating Activities <br />Describe all industrial activities that generate dust <br />or particulates that may be deposited within the <br />facility's boundaries and identify their discharge <br />locations; The characteristics of dust and particulate <br />pollutants; the approximate quantity of dust and <br />particulate pollutants that may be deposited within <br />the facility boundaries; and a description of the <br />primary areas of the facility where dust and <br />particulate pollutants would settle. <br />40 iv. Significant Spills and Leaks <br />Describe materials that have spilled or leaked in <br />significant quantities in storm water discharges or <br />
