11 <br />Treated Auto Shredder Waste <br />The construction of the sloped test Mot for TASW (Test Plot #4) is presented on <br />Figure 3, and the results are as follows: <br />Average thickness: 1.38' <br />Area ofplat:2,500 square feet <br />Volume of material: 3,450 cubic feet <br />Weight of material: 149,380 pounds <br />Density of material: 43.30 pounds/cubic foot or 1,169.1 pounds/cubic yard <br />Construction and measurement of the level deck test plot (Test Plot #3) was <br />completed normally. The layout is presented on Figure 4, and the results are as <br />follows: <br />Average thickness: 1.36' <br />Area of plot: 2,500 square feet <br />Volume of material: 3,400 cubic feet <br />Weight of material: 136,060 pounds <br />Density of material: 40.02 pounds/cubic foot or 1,0805 pounds/cubic yard <br />A sample of TASW was collected from the stockpile on October 12 and was <br />subsequently tested for moisture content at a con-lpost laboratory. <br />Overall density for TASW as tested in this program (Test Plots #3 and #4) are: 41.66 <br />pounds/cubic foot or 1,124.8 pounds/cubic yard. <br />Soil Cover <br />A test plot was constructed for soil cover (Test Plot #6) at the request of Keith <br />Kennedy of the CIWMB.
