They <br />also meet regulatory agency <br />requirements for storing <br />hazardous wastes in a secured <br />enclosure. Our buildings' high <br />quality design standards are <br />consistent with local Hazardous <br />Material Storage Ordinances re- <br />quiring hazardous chemicals to <br />be stored in secondary contain- <br />ment structures to prevent spills <br />or leaks from contaminating <br />groundwater. <br />.n e .""C;mCr,y <br />i � �'V ��•v e..�f... .ill yr <br />=.te' <br />r <br />K v <br />® <br />SAFETY STORAGE <br />BUILDINGS <br />Construction Features: <br />STANDARD DESIGNS <br />❑ Safety Storage Buildings are <br />specifically designed for hazard- <br />ous material storage and <br />handling. <br />❑ These sturdy units are con- <br />structed of 10 and 12 gauge <br />ASTM -A569 steel to provide <br />structural strength and security. <br />❑ Storage units are designed <br />with a 6- sump providing <br />secondary spill containment. <br />❑ Chemicals can be conveniently <br />stored inside each unit in drums, <br />boxes. on pallets, in 5 -gallon cans <br />or other sizes. <br />❑ Storage units can be loaded/ <br />unloadec using a forklift or by <br />manual means. <br />❑ All interior surfaces are coated <br />with a chemical -resistant epoxy <br />paint. <br />❑ Standard floors are 11/s" -thick <br />eccxy-coated. fire -retardant - <br />treated plywood. The flooring is <br />eesigned with removable sections <br />to ;permit visual inspection for <br />Ie3Ks or spills. <br />❑ A static grounding connection <br />is provided on each unit to <br />protect flammable/combustible <br />liquids from ignition by electrical <br />discharge. <br />Patent Pending <br />OPTIONAL FEATURES <br />❑ Safety eye/face wash units can <br />be installed where supply water <br />hookup is available.
