Tables A 1-9 through A 1-13 list the frequency
distribution of the percentages of the various waste
types found in the solid waste disposal stream of the
unincorporated County. The first column lists the
various waste types, arranged in descending order, from
the most frequently occurring to the least frequently
occurring in the waste stream. The second column lists
the relative frequency of the various waste types in
tons. The third column indicates the percentages of the
total waste stream for each of the waste types. The
fourth column indicates the cumulative tons for each
waste type. The fifth column indicates the cumulative
frequency for each of the waste types.
A review of these tables indicates that yard waste
accounts for 16%, wood 15%, and corrugated paper 10% of
the total waste stream. These three waste types make up
41% of the total waste stream in the unincorporated
County.
Appendix 1 20
