Applicable to future Modules 5 through 11. Test configuration should be identical to the liner configuration in the field. <br />2. Large -displacement shear strength as measured at a shear displacement of 3 inches; the listed values correspond to a friction <br />angle of 12 degrees.6 <br />3. The shear strength of internal shear plane within the GCL and its interfaces with the two geomembranes should be tested <br />simultaneously by placing the GCL in a floating condition.7 <br />4. This test is required only if a geotextile cushion is used above the geomembrane. <br />5. The interface shall be wetted by spraying with water before shearing. <br />6.
