INTRODUCTION <br />u <br />' The Corral Hollow Sanitary Landfill is located in the southwestern <br />Part of San Joaquin County approximately 5 miles south of Tracy on <br />' Corral Hollow Road near State Highway No. 205. The location is shown <br />on the vicinity map on the following page. The site property is <br />currently owned jointly by the City of Tracy and San Joaquin County. <br />It is operated as a Class III Sanitary Landfill by the City of Tracy <br />under Solid Waste Facilities Permit Number 39 -AA -005 issued by the <br />' San Joaquin Local Health District, and Waste Discharge Requirement <br />Order Number 75-115 issued by the California Regional Water Quality <br />Control Board, Central Valley Region (RWQCB). Under <br />these documents, <br />' the site has 45 acres permitted for landfilling. A copy of the <br />existing Solid Waste Facilities Permit for the site is shown as <br />' Appendix A. On November- 27, 1984, the revised "Discharges of Waste to <br />Land" regulations found in Subchapter 15, Chapter 39 Title 23 of the <br />California Administrative Code, (Subchapter 15) became effective. <br />' These regulations require owners or operators of existing waste <br />management units for which waste discharge requirements were issued <br />before the effective date of Subchapter 15, to submit a Report of <br />Waste Discharge (RWD) to the RWQCB. Following is a RWD submitted to <br />' satisfy these reporting requirements for the Corral Hollow Sanitary <br />' Landfill. This RWD was prepared by the San Joaquin County Department <br />of Public Works. The information which follows in this RWD is indexed <br />according to the section numbers contained in Subchapter 15. <br />1 3 <br />
