DISCUSSION: During placement of solid waste material, the
proposed increased quantities will not result in additional
overburden or compaction of soil over the original design for
the site. The increased quantities will simply cause the site
to reach its capacity sooner. similarly, the topography will
not be altered. Final grades will remain as designed, but the
grades will be finalized sooner than originally anticipated.
MITIGATION MEASURES: No mitigation is necessary.
Yes No Maybe
2. AIR - Will the proposed project result in:
a. Substantial air emissions or deterior-
ation of ambient air quality? X_
b. The creation of objectionable odors? x
C. Alteration of air movement, moisture,
or temperature, or any change in
climate? X_
DISCUSSION: During placement of solid waste material, the
proposed project may result in objectionable odors. However,
since waste material will be covered on a daily basis, odors
should not affect adjacent off-site land uses.
MITIGATION MEASURES: Waste should be covered daily with 611 of
soil to prevent the escape of objectionable odors.
Yes No Maybe
3 . WATER - Will the proposed project result in:
a. Changes in currents, or the course
of direction of water movements? _ x
b. Changes in the absorption rates,
drainage patterns, or the rate and
amount of surface runoff? _ x
C. Alterations to the course or flow
of flood waters? _ x
d.
