DISCUSSION: During placement of solid waste material, the <br /> proposed increased quantities will not result in additional <br /> overburden or compaction of soil over the original design for <br /> the site. The increased quantities will simply cause the site <br /> to reach its capacity sooner. similarly, the topography will <br /> not be altered. Final grades will remain as designed, but the <br /> grades will be finalized sooner than originally anticipated. <br /> MITIGATION MEASURES: No mitigation is necessary. <br /> Yes No Maybe <br /> 2. AIR - Will the proposed project result in: <br /> a. Substantial air emissions or deterior- <br /> ation of ambient air quality? X_ <br /> b. The creation of objectionable odors? x <br /> C. Alteration of air movement, moisture, <br /> or temperature, or any change in <br /> climate? X_ <br /> DISCUSSION: During placement of solid waste material, the <br /> proposed project may result in objectionable odors. However, <br /> since waste material will be covered on a daily basis, odors <br /> should not affect adjacent off-site land uses. <br /> MITIGATION MEASURES: Waste should be covered daily with 611 of <br /> soil to prevent the escape of objectionable odors. <br /> Yes No Maybe <br /> 3 .
