D. NATURE AND QUANTITY OF WASTES TO BE ACCEPTED <br /> 1. WES <br /> The general categories of solid waste anticipated to be received at the station includes residential, <br /> commercial, industrial/construction, and self-haul. These wastes are currently accepted at the <br /> Corral Hollow Sanitary Landfill and it is assumed similar materials would be processed by this <br /> facility. Composition of refuse typically received at the Corral Hollow landfill consists of paper <br /> products, food wastes, glass, metal, wood, plastic, cloth, rubber, synthetics and inert waste such <br /> as soil, ashes, rock, etc. <br /> a. General <br /> General waste type and quantity projections for the Tracy Planning Area are presented, by waste <br /> category, on Table 1. The Tracy Planning Area, as defined by the San Joaquin County Planning <br /> Department, consists of the City of Tracy and portions of the unincorporated County, which <br /> approximately encompass the South County Collection Region. See Figure I for the delineation <br /> of the Tracy Planning Area. Information utilized to develop waste quantity projections included <br /> the City of Tracy and San Joaquin County Source Reduction and Recycling Elements (S 's), <br /> 1990 census data and discussions with City and County public works departments and planning <br /> agencies.
