The alternative route to Foottill Landfill would riot affect the impacts within the transportation study area
since the same route would be followed to State Route 99. The only change associated with this route
Is that daily waste transfer In 1995 and 40 in 2010) would use different routes after eXtting
State Route 99. Both routes utilize state routes after leaving State Route 99. Of the two routes, users of
State Route 26 may be the most affected given the larger number of intersections this route.
The alternative proposal to change the disposal site to the North County Landfill would have a similar
affect to that of changing the proposed We to the Foothill Landfill. Waste transfer trucks would still
follow the same route to State Route 99 but exit further north at Harney Lane.
Service to Mountain House would alter trip distribution for collection type vehicles. Mountain House trips
would follow a route that travels south on Interstate 580, north on Corral Hollow, east to Line Road and
south on MacArthur to the proposed project site. Assuming no not increase in trip generation.trips would
increase Con-al Hollow Road south of Line Road and along Unne Road east of Corral Hollow
Road. Trips Id decrease along Corral Hollow north of Linn Road, along Tracy Boulevard north of
unne Road and along MacArthur Drive, north of Lynne Road. As the analysis results above indicate,
intersections on these roads operate at or better than LOS C. Redistribution would not adversely affect
the LOS results.
A
LJ
e
i
1
3
ER-93-1 - 55 - (9-27-93)
