The program will conform to <br /> Title 14, Chapter 3 , Article 7.8, section 17783 . 15. <br /> 4.0 POSTCLOSURE LAND USE <br /> The Corral Hollow Sanitary Landfill will be utilized as open area <br /> upon closure. once final grading is achieved, grass will be <br /> planted for erosion control and the site will be monitored, <br /> inspected, and maintained per the postclosure maintenance plan. <br /> 5.0 MAINTENANCE AND MONITORING <br /> An engineer will inspect the site on a quarterly basis. In <br /> addition, an engineer will inspect the site following a <br /> precipitation event exceeding one inch in a twenty four hour <br /> period. The engineer will prepare a report for each inspection <br /> including the time spent, items inspected, and any deficiencies <br /> found. The quarterly reports will be combined into an annual <br /> report which will be submitted to the Local Enforcement Agency. If <br /> any deficiencies are found, the engineer will report them to the <br /> Solid Waste Division, and the problems will be corrected <br /> immediately. The following are the methods, procedures, and <br /> processes that will be used to maintain, monitor, and inspect the <br /> facility. <br /> 5. 1 Final Cover <br /> Final cover will be inspected quarterly by an engineer to make sure <br /> that factors such as subsidence, settling, and erosion are not <br /> adversely affecting its performance. The engineer will inspect the <br /> entire site and will look for areas of subsidence, surface cracks. <br /> and areas of ponding. If deficiencies are found, the County will <br /> take the following steps to correct them. <br /> 1 . If surface damage is observed the damaged vegetative <br /> cover will be removed with a backhoe or a motor grader to <br /> expose the low permeability layer. If the underlying low <br /> 7 <br />
