(A) The maximum expected acceleration in rock. derived from the <br /> Maximum Credible Earthquake (MCE) as defined in CDMG Note Number <br /> 43 may be used instead of the MPE. <br /> (B) MCE and MPE acceleration shall be supported by data and <br /> analysis. <br /> (8) Seismic shaking parameters other than acceleration shall also <br /> be included in any assessment of dynamic slope stability. These <br /> parameters shall consist of but not be limited to earthquake <br /> magnitude, and duration. <br /> (9) Documentation of any peer-reviewed reduction factor for <br /> acceleration applied to attenuate the acceleration through the soil <br /> column or fill materials. <br /> (10) The dynamic stability if located in an area subject to <br /> liquefaction, poor foundation conditions, or seismic amplification <br /> shall include documentation of a peer-reviewed amplification factor <br /> for acceleration in loose saturated soils. <br /> (11) In lieu of achieving a factor of safety of 1. 5 under dynamic <br /> conditions, a more rigorous analytical method that provides a <br /> quantified estimate of the magnitude of movement may be employed. <br /> In this case, the report shall demonstrate that this amount of <br /> movement can be accommodated without jeopardizing the integrity of <br /> the final cover or the environmental control systems. <br /> NOTE: Authority cited: Section 40502 and 43020, Public Resource's <br /> Code, and 66796.22 (d) , Government Code. Reference: Sections <br /> 43021 and 44100 Public Resources Code, and 66796. 22 (d) Government <br /> Code. <br /> Section 17778. Final Drainage <br /> (a) A '-final drainage system shall be designed, cbnstructed <br /> graded, and maintained in accordance with Title 23, CCR, Subchapter <br /> 15, Section 2546(a) and approved by the local enforcement agency <br /> and the Board. I <br /> (b) The ' final drainage design shall be developed through .'an <br /> engineering analysis by a registered civil engineer. :' <br /> (c) To the extent feasible, based on site-specific factors, the <br /> drainage- system shall be constructed, pursuant to Section 17764 of <br /> this Article, as the site reaches final configuration. <br /> (d) The operator shall develop and implement quality control <br /> procedures to ensure that the final drainage system is constructed <br /> according to the approved final closure plan. <br /> (e) A drainage system shall include: <br /> (1) Design features to divert sheet runoff, laterally or the <br /> shortest distance, to a drainage channel and collection system <br /> including: <br /> (A) Run-off control system designed and constructed in accordance <br /> with Title 23, CCR, Subchapter 15, Section 2546 (c) ; <br /> (B) Run-off controls designed to function as diversionary <br /> structures to intercept and convey water to collection facilities; <br /> 111 7.8-21 (6/18/90) <br />
