Written instructions for storage, handling installation, seaming and repair of
proposed geocomposite:
B. Submit the following 7 days prior to scheduled installation to the Engineer.
C. Manufacturer's certificates of compliance stating geocomposites comply with
specified requirements.
D. MQC test results performed on materials manufactured for this project.
1.07 SLOPE STABILITY VERIFICATION (PERFORMED BY ENGINEER)
Prior to manufacturing geocomposite products for this project, Engineer will perform and review
one interface shear test for the geocomposite and geomembrane interface. Direct shear tests will
be performed on the sample provided with "submittals", in accordance with the testing
procedures outlined in the CQA Plan. Provide the roll and lot number from which the
geocomposite samples is taken, along with the MQC test data from that lot. The material
properties of the sample provided for direct shear testing will be used as a basis for accepting the
material provided for the project.
1.08 CONFORMANCE TESTING (PERFORMED BY ENGINEER)
A. Engineer will perform conformance testing on geocomposites as outlined in the
CQA manual.
B. Schedule 7 calendar days prior to installation for conformance tests to be performed
and data to be reviewed.
1.09 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING
A. Ship geocomposite in closed trailer.
B. Label, deliver and store in accordance with ASTM D4873.
C.
