Well development records are presented in Appendix D.
4.4.6 Phase II Groundwater Sampling and Analysis
After each well was developed, groundwater was allowed to recover until sufficient
water was available for sampling. Groundwater samples were collected by Gregg
' Drilling using a decontaminated stainless steel bailer lowered into the well with the
drilling cable. Sampling was directed by GLA's Certified Hydrogeologist. Samples were
transferred to the laboratory-supplied bottles in the order of volatility to minimize loss
' of volatile constituents. Once each sample bottle was filled, it was capped, inverted to
check for airspace, labeled, and placed in a laboratory-supplied cooler with ice to
' preserve the sample. Chain of custody documentation was completed, and the samples
were transferred to the laboratory courier under strict chain-of-custody protocols.
' Groundwater samples were analyzed for the following parameters.
Parameter Test Method
Bicarbonate SM 2320B
Carbonate SM 2320B
Chloride EPA 300.0
Nitrate as Nitrogen EPA 300.0
Sulfate EPA 300.0
Total Dissolved Solids EPA 160.1
Calcium, dissolved EPA 6010B
Magnesium, dissolved EPA 6010B
Potassium, dissolved EPA 6010B
Sodium, dissolved EPA 6010B
VOCs EPA 82608
The results are summarized on the following table, and certified analytical results for
the Phase II results are presented along with the Phase I results in Appendix C.
EMP Report—Phase II Geo-Logic Page ■ 14
' Corral Hollow Sanitary Landfill ASSOCIATES
August 21,2012
