Six VOCs were reported this quarter, four above the laboratory's practical quantification limit (PQL) and one below the PQL at"trace" concentrations (Table 1). Trend analysis of VOC concentrations indicate increasing trends for 1,1-Dichloroethane, Dichlorodifluoromethane, PCE and Freon 11. Trend analysis also indicated a decreasing trend in Cis 1,2-Dichlroethene, and TCE this quarter. Trend analysis will continue to be used quarterly to evaluate concentrations of VOCs in MW-8. Methylene Chloride ,1 previously repeatedly reported at this well, has not been detected since May 2012. This indicates improving groundwater quality at this well. AI-W-9A (Newly-installed): This is the eighth quarter in which MW-9A and the other off-site wells were monitored. Concentrations of all parameters were within established concentration limits where the limits could be determined (Table 1). Six BTEX VOCs were reported in the first sampling event this quarter however,these compounds were not detected in confirmation sampling collected on February 19, 2014. Therefore, the "detections" of the initial sampling event were due to lab error and do not indicate groundwater impact. . With the exception of false positives,No VOCs were reported in MW-9A this quarter(Table 1). Data is not sufficient to establish a trend in this well. -10A (Newly-installed,Apparently No Longer Impacted): Concentrations of all parameters were within established concentration limits where the limits could be determined (Table 1).
