y� <br />per the construction drawings and specifications. <br />The location of the new wells is away from refuse limit; thus, drilling of the new <br />wells does not include excavation of refuse or contact with refuse. <br />Drilling muds or liquids will not be used during drilling. All drilling equipments are <br />expected to be clean. The contractor will be required to clean all unclean <br />equipments off-site. Spoil will be dispersed around the drilled boring. All <br />construction debris will be removed from the site by the drilling contractor. <br />Any open excavations deeper than three feet will be covered with a one -inch <br />thick piece of plywood at the end of the working day. The edges of the plywood <br />will be sealed around with soil to prevent landfill gas from escaping into the <br />atmosphere. The plywood covered area will also be flagged with warning tape <br />A boring log will be compiled during the drilling of the well. <br />The new soil gas monitoring well ,GW -1 A, will be constructed per the <br />construction drawings and specifications. Comments received from EHD will be <br />incorporated into the construction of GW -1 A. <br />It is anticipated that GW -1A will be constructed immediately after drilling.
