Box 1810 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 <br /> REVIEW OF FIRST QUARTER 2007 GROUNDWATER AND SURFACE WATER <br /> MONITORING REPORT, CORRAL HOLLOW SANITARY LANDFILL, SAN JOAQUIN <br /> COUNTY. <br /> The Regional Water Quality Control Board (Regional Water Board) staff has reviewed the 1St <br /> Quarter 2007 Groundwater and Surface Water Monitoring Report for the Corral Hollow <br /> Sanitary Landfill, San Joaquin County. Staff finds the report complete, however, continued <br /> detections of VOCs in groundwater collected from well MW-5 is a violation of the waste <br /> discharge requirements. The Discharger has been requested to initiate an Evaluation <br /> Monitoring Program (EMP) and has prepared an EMP work plan that has been reviewed and <br /> approved by staff. The Discharger is planning to initiate the approved scope of work once <br /> property access has been granted. <br /> Please review the monitoring and reporting checklist.
