70-1029-02 <br /> Gas migration testing was performed using four driven monitoring probes. <br /> The samples were tested for total organic compounds measured as methane, <br /> using a portable organic vapor analyzer equipped with a flame ionization <br /> detector. The TOC concentrations ranged frau four to 120 parts per million <br /> (0.0004 to 0.012 percent) . These concentrations are well below the lower <br /> explosive limit (five percent methane) , which is stipulated by the federal <br /> Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) as the maximum possible <br /> concentration in the soil at the property boundary. <br /> 1-2 <br />
