CAC SECTION OBSERVATIONS RESULT <br /> 17703 Fire Control. There was a bulldozer on site that was C <br /> available to push earth to control <br /> fires. <br /> Note: There were six foot high weeds <br /> in 30 foot wide patches along the <br /> perimeter. The weeds are a fire <br /> hazard. (See slide I . 24) . <br /> 17704 Leachate The Regional Water Quality Control I <br /> Control, Board (RWQCB) was unable to give me <br /> any Subchapter 15 findings at this <br /> time. Future inspectors will have to <br /> evaluate this Section when the <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> (RWQCB) findings are complete. <br /> Note: I did not observe surface <br /> leachate at this site. <br /> 17705 Gas Control. I tested for methane with a Gas-Tech, C <br /> Model NP-204, at the eastern perimeter <br /> and next to the caretakers home. I <br /> detected nothing. The north, south <br /> and western ends of this site are <br /> surrounded by a slough. The slough <br /> provides an impermiable barrier to <br /> gas. Therefore, I did not test for <br /> gas at these perimeters. <br /> 17706 Dust Control. This site was not dusty. C <br /> 17707 Vector and Bird Many ground squirrels and ground V <br /> Control. squirrel burrows were observed in <br /> areas adjacent to the commercial <br /> gardeners dumping area. The uncovered <br /> waste provides harborage and a <br /> constant food supply to possible <br /> disease carrying vectors. <br /> 17708 Drainage and Drainage systems around the fill C <br /> Erosion appeared to drain effectively and <br /> Control. there was no significant erosion on <br /> fill areas. <br /> 17709 Contact with I did not observe waste in contact C <br /> Water . with water. <br /> Page No. 8 of 10 Inspector <br />
