The locations of the test pits are shown on the <br />attached sketch. In all eight test pits only native soils were encountered consisting <br />mostly of silty sand with minor interbedded layers of sandy silt. No debris was <br />encountered in any of the test pits. Methane gas was evaluated using a Sentury OVA <br />88 fiarne 0nization device. A background reading of 5 parts <br />wed on <br />the gas meter. Gas samples taken adjacent to freshly excavated solliaalong the slides <br />and bottom of the trenches indicated no readings above the background value. <br />We trust this letter presents the information requested at this time, <br />drafted the Logs of Test Pits as all materials were native soils.
