70-1029-02 <br />11 <br />Gas migration testing was performed using four driven monitoring probes. <br />The samples were tested for total organic compounds measured as methane, <br />using a portable organic vapor analyzer equipped with a flame ionization <br />detector. The TOC concentrations ranged from four to 120 parts per million <br />(0.0004 to 0.012 percent) . These concentrations are well below the lower <br />explosive limit (five percent methane), which is stipulated by the federal <br />Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) as the maximum possible <br />concentration in the soil at the property boundary. <br />
