An exception to this practice is the placement of <br /> plastic wastes from the poly-broke line in the disposal site at distances of 5 to 10 <br /> feet from the top finished grade. <br /> The wastes from both the centri-sorter and the poly-broke line are compatible <br /> with the conditions for disposal at the French Camp site. The existing control measures <br /> at the site are adequate for.the wastes. <br /> Conclusions and Recommendations <br /> The investigations resulted in the following conclusions and recommendations. <br /> 1 . The principal components in the solid wastes coming from cleaning <br /> operations are paper fibres, plastics, and water. <br /> 2. The quantity of wastes,delivered to the French Camp site is .1200 to <br /> 1500 cubic yards per month. <br /> 3. The French Camp disposal site does not have a classification or waste <br /> / discharge requirement assigned by the local regulatory agency. The <br /> site owner, the City of Stockton, has chosen to operate it as a class <br /> II-2 site. <br /> 4. The solid wastes do.not, in and of themselves present a threat to the <br /> chemical composition of groundwaters under the site. <br /> 5. It is recommended that the solid wastes continue to be received at the <br /> '' French Camp site. <br />
