The letter asked three questions. <br />The first requested information on Performance Standards; the <br />second asked if greenwaste could be used as a cover material; and <br />the third asked for a reduction in the amount of soil to be used <br />as daily cover. In reading the letter there was a little <br />confusion. John Fukumoto of the Department of Public Works, City <br />of Stockton was contacted to get clarification. <br />In the first question the operator asked if the site could go on <br />Ckerformance Standards. Title 14 Section 17683 allows any <br />landfill to go on Performance Standards based on the approval of <br />the Local Enforcement •_ <br />Being as site is <br />accepting only green waste it may be possible for the site to <br />complywith the requirementsOSection <br />The second question deals with the use of greenwaste as a cover <br />material. _ 14 Section• - CIWMB to consider <br />cover materials other than soils as a daily cover.
