The average daily tonnage
at this landfill is between 90 to 100 tons per day.
We are requesting the daily cover thickness be modified and the
garden refuse be included as part of the daily cover requirement.
The materials being deposited (grass clippings, leaves, and yard
waste) encounter very little problem with vector/birds or odor.
Due to the limited source of cover material, we would like to
reduce the dirt cover thickness to 2 or 3 inches instead of 6
inches.
If you have any questions regarding this, please contact John
Fukumoto at (209) 944-8829.
L
iginal signed day:
MIKE MILLER
SOLID WASTE MANAGER
MM: JF: cc
cc:!
