E <br />REVISION TO DAILY COVER REQUIREMENTS <br />FOR <br />FRENCH CAMP LANDFILL S.W.I.S.—# 39-AA-0002 <br />The City of Stockton is requesting the COVER requirement at th <br />French camp Landfill be revised so that the landfill will b <br />covered with 6" of soil material on Fridays of each week. I <br />French Camp landfill is a 72 acre disposal facility, accepting onl <br />11 greenwastell collected by the City's garden refuse pickup crews an <br />private landscape maintenance contractors. All residential <br />commercial and industrial wastes are delivered to the City's Austi <br />Road Landfill. <br />The site, located on the confines of French Camp and Walker Slough <br />and Manthey road, is owned by the City of Stockton and operated <br />a private contractor. Load checks are performed periodically by th <br />[]I <br />city's scale operator for residential and commercial wastes <br />Additionally the equipment operators are instructed to check fo <br />non-greenwaste materials and report any violations to the scal <br />operator. I <br />The San Joaquin County's Environmental Health Division, Loca <br />Enforcement Agency, will perform weekly inspections and perform al <br />the tests required under CCR 17683 Performance Standards. I <br />Revision to the Dail <br />will: <br />1. Reduce the soil <br />landfill life. <br />2.
