Soil gas concentrations were measured using a Gastechtor Model No. <br /> 1314SMPN calibrated for methane. Each gas probe was purged for five minutes. After the five <br /> minute purge time, oxygen and lower explosive limit(LEL) percentages were recorded. Methane <br /> gas concentrations measured in site structures were recorded when the readings stabilized. <br /> Methane gas monitoring results for the first quarter of 1995 are summarized in Table 2. <br />
