V.F.3. Communications <br />14 CCR 17668 <br />During working hours, all employees and supervisors carry <br />Motorola MTX 8000 radios connected to a repeater. These <br />radios have a 60 -mile range. In addition, all supervisors carry <br />cellular phones. Operators are to report any emergency <br />immediately. There is a site supervisor on the property at all <br />times. <br />V.F.4. Lighting <br />14 CCR 17669 <br />During working hours which take place prior to daylight, a <br />portable system of Maxi Lites is employed. The system is a <br />5,000 -watt lighting system capable of lighting an area the <br />equivalent size of a football field. The lighting trailer is brought <br />out to the site area that is currently being worked on and used <br />until there is sufficient natural lighting available. <br />V.F.S. Safety Equipment <br />14 CCR 17670 <br />Operator issues the following safety equipment to employees: <br />hard hats, reflective safety vests, leather gloves, coveralls, <br />safety boots with steel shank in sole, and safety glasses. <br />Operator also makes dust masks available to employees who <br />are exposed to dust in the course of their duties. The <br />operation manager checks out all personnel before they go to <br />work to ensure they have all their safety equipment on and <br />that it is in good working order. <br />VI. DISPOSAL SITE CONTROLS <br />VI.A. LEACHATE MANAGEMENT PLAN <br />VI.A.1. Leachate Control and <br />Monitoring <br />VI.A.1.a. An <br />CEP Dwg. P4, <br />amendment will be filed at the time of final design of each <br />CEP Dwg. P6, <br />construction phase; this amendment will address the specific <br />CEP Dwg.
