(CASE NO. 3032) <br /> We have reviewed the Fourth Quarter 2000 and Annual 2000 Monitoring Report, French Camp <br /> Landfill submitted on 14 February 2001 by Levine Fricke on behalf of Allied Waste Industries, Inc. The <br /> enclosed Monitoring Report Compliance Checklists summarizes our comments on the report. The report <br /> was submitted late. The surface water sampling results are misreported in Table 2; the table should be <br /> corrected and resubmitted. Also, Forward Inc. should submit addendums to this report that address item <br /> numbers 2.b. and 2.g. in the checklist, which are required in the Standard Provision portion of your <br /> Waste Discharge Requirements. Future monitoring reports should also address the noted deficiencies. <br /> With a new consultant collecting groundwater samples at French Camp and Austin Road landfills, a <br /> sampling protocol for these facilities should be submitted. The protocols should discuss water level <br /> measurement,purging technique, flow rates (micropurge), intake depths and any special conditions or <br /> concerns for individual wells.
