Forward is conducting quarterly <br /> monitoring of VOCs in groundwater and soil gas through May 2008 to determine the significance of this detection. <br /> The facility is out of compliance due to existing groundwater impacts. A landfill cover was completed in Fall 2006,the <br /> low level inorganic impacts should decline after closure. <br /> Methane, oxygen, nitrogen and carbon dioxide concentrations measured with portable field instruments apparently do not <br /> correlate with VOC concentrations measured in gas samples.
