The overgrown vegetation could pose a fire <br />hazard, especially with summer approaching. <br />a. Operator should maintain the vegetation at a minimum, so that site cover inspection could easily be conducted <br />and to prevent surface fires from taking place which could cause a threat to public health and safety and the <br />environment. <br />X <br />20921 - Gas Monitoring and Control <br />Comments: Concentrations of gas probe measured the following for methane %: <br />GW 4 - Shallow - 0.0 Intermediate - 1.2 Deep - 2.6 <br />GW 1 - 0.0 (all three probes) <br />GW 9 - 0.0 (all three probes) <br />GW 10 - 0.0 (all three probes) <br />a. Methane gas levels of 5% (LEL) by volume of air at the property boundary constitute a violation. Take <br />adequate measures to decrease gas level at the property boundary. <br />X <br />20650 - Grading of Fill Surfaces <br />Comments: Ponding water observed on the top of southeast side of primary site. <br />a. Grade the area to promote lateral runoff of water and prevent future ponding. <br />b. Grades shall be established to provide sufficient slopes to account for future settlement of the fill surface. <br />X <br />21150 - Drainage and Erosion Control <br />Comments: Drainage at the northwest side of the primary site and northwest side of the secondary site did not <br />appear to function as intended. Continuation of AC from the last inspection. <br />a. Provide adequate drainage of runoff for the entire site. <br />
