CalRecycle <br />Closed Disposal Site Inspection Report (188) <br />County of San Joaquin <br />39 -AA -0003 1 3/18/2010 ( LEA Periodic <br />Lane Sanitary Landfill (County Of San Joaquin Public Works Dept <br />1/4 Mi E Of Jack Tone Road, Lodi <br />99999 <br />Natalia Subbotnikova <br />THE ABOVE FACILITY WAS INSPECTED FOR COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE SECTIONS OF THE DIVISION 30 OF THE PUBLIC RESOURCES CODE (PRC) AND TITLE 14 AND TITLE 27 CALIFORNIA CODE OF REGULATIONS (CCR) <br />No Violations <br />or Areas of Concern <br />Y A <br />Regulations <br />x <br />20650 - Grading of Fill Surfaces <br />Comments: Ponding water observed on the top of southeast side of primary site. <br />- Grade the area to promote lateral runoff of water and prevent future ponding. <br />- Grades shall be established to provide sufficient slopes to account for future settlement of the fill surface. <br />x <br />21150 - Drainage / Erosion Control <br />Comments: Drainage at the entire site did not appear to function as intended. Erosion channels at the southeast <br />and southwest sides of primary site has been repaired. However, erosion channels were observed at the north <br />slope of secondary site. Continuation of violation from the last inspection. <br />- Provide adequate drainage of runoff for the entire site. <br />- Make necessary repairs of erosion channels within 30 days of receipt of this inspection report and take <br />measures to prevent future waste <br />exposure. <br />Inspection Report Comments: <br />Notes: <br />A. The landfill gas extraction flare was operating at time of inspection. <br />B. Concentrations of gas probe measured the following for methane%: GW1 - Shallow - 0.0, Intermediate - 0.0, Deep - <br />0.0; GW4 - Shallow - 0.0, Intermediate - 1.9, Deep - 0.8; GW6 - Shallow - 0.0, Intermediate - 0.0, Deep - 0.0; GW11 - <br />Shallow - 0.0, Intermediate - 0.0, Deep - 0.0. <br />C. Vegetation maintained at a minimum at the entire site. <br />D. Observed installation of new fence along the east perimeter. <br />E. Continue to make necessary repairs of burrow holes and take measures to prevent further burrowing. <br />F. Large amount of ants were covered probes in GW4. <br />
