Neither of the two compounds were detected fn the retest(results enclosed).
Therefore, the County believes that groundwater quality in the vicinity of MW-1 has not been
impacted.
The County is aware that Volatile Organic Compounds have been detected historically in
groundwater samples collected from downgradient well MW-2. In accordance with the letter
from the Regional Water Board, dated June 26, 2002, the County will review the historical data
to determine the effectiveness of the implemented corrective action measures.
Please call me with any questions at(209)468-3066.
Sincerely,
W.
