No VOCs were detected. Also,no VOCs were detected in well <br /> MW-1. County submitted this data as the previously requested retest. Therefore,VOC release is not <br /> confirmed and amended ROWD and EMP previously requested are not necessary. <br /> Well MW-2 is also near the areas of noted subsidence that require repair. <br /> The county is making repairs and upgrades to the landfill gas extraction system and proposes continued <br /> monitoring to determine if sporadic VOC impacts to groundwater are mitigated. <br /> Landfill cover subsidence noted. County should submit a workplan and their schedule for repairs that will <br /> adequately prevent ponding on the landfill cap. Our 18 August 1999 letter indicated that repairs should be <br /> made prior to 31 October 1999. <br /> Purge rate is approximately 1 gallon per minute for each well.
