This will involve double handling of the material; however, <br /> the additional mixing should provide an even, more-uniform soil/clay mixture. As in other areas <br /> of the project, field density tests as well as moisture, classification, and gradation tests will be <br /> taken on these side slopes. If desired, or requested by the California Regional Water Control <br /> Board, a block sample could also be cut out of the slope for conformance testing. <br /> We trust this letter provides information requested.
