I. The Contractor shall cease grouting when the cement level has risen to two <br /> feet from the ground surface. Cement levels shall be monitored by the <br /> Contractor to assure that cement taken into the formation is replaced by <br /> additional cement. <br /> J. Allow eight hours between placing neat cement grout and concrete pad <br /> material. <br /> K. The Contractor shall record the following information on the Driller's Log: <br /> 1. Depth of encountered water-bearing zones <br /> 2. Total depth of bore hole <br /> 3. Depth from ground surface to top and bottom of the well screen interval <br /> 4. Depth from ground surface to top of the sand pack interval <br /> 5. Depth from ground surface to top of the bentonite plug <br /> 6. Height above the ground surface of the top of the well casing <br /> 7. Height above the ground surface of the top of the steel protective <br /> casing <br /> 3.04 WELL SURFACE COMPLETION <br /> A. Install the well enclosure and bollards plumb. <br /> B. Clean the enclosure and spot paint scrapes. <br /> PART 4 WELL RE-DEVELOPMENT <br /> Existing groundwater monitoring well shall be re-developed. As built well <br /> logs and drilling logs of MW-2 is available upon request. The Contractor <br /> shall identify the method of well re-development to the County. All <br /> wastewater shall be drained as directed by the Contractor. <br /> PART 5 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT <br /> Payment shall be full compensation for labor, materials, tools, equipment <br /> overhead.
