I. The Contractor shall cease grouting when the cement level has risen to two feet from the ground surface. Cement levels shall be monitored by the Contractor to assure that cement taken into the formation is replaced by additional cement. J. Allow eight hours between placing neat cement grout and concrete pad material. K. The Contractor shall record the following information on the Driller's Log: 1. Depth of encountered water-bearing zones 2. Total depth of bore hole 3. Depth from ground surface to top and bottom of the well screen interval 4. Depth from ground surface to top of the sand pack interval 5. Depth from ground surface to top of the bentonite plug 6. Height above the ground surface of the top of the well casing 7. Height above the ground surface of the top of the steel protective casing 3.04 WELL SURFACE COMPLETION A. Install the well enclosure and bollards plumb. B. Clean the enclosure and spot paint scrapes. PART 4 WELL RE-DEVELOPMENT Existing groundwater monitoring well shall be re-developed. As built well logs and drilling logs of MW-2 is available upon request. The Contractor shall identify the method of well re-development to the County. All wastewater shall be drained as directed by the Contractor. PART 5 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT Payment shall be full compensation for labor, materials, tools, equipment overhead. Unless authorized in writing by the Engineer, the quantity paid shall not exceed the amount shown on the proposal. 5.01 MOBILIZATION/DEMOBILIZATION Mobilization/demobilization includes, bringing workers, equipment, and material to the sites, and removing such equipment and material when the work is complete.
