In the inspection
report, some concerns regarding exposed auto shredder residue, the presence of landfill area
on an adjacent piece of property, and the chemical nature of surface water bodies were
expressed. Attachment 1 contains our comments on the need for preparation of a SWAT,
sampling results, and the comparison with water quality goals. It is our position that none of
these issues should be problematic. As we discussed on June 2, 1992, you granted us an
extension to respond to your April 13, 1992 letter.
Please call if you have any questions or need additional information.
Sincerely,
KLEINFELDER, INC.
Timoth A.
