Entire pit will be brought to six inches above present <br /> surface level of surrounding area, including two feet of dirt <br /> cover of limited Class II materials . At that time , the <br /> reclaimed acreage ,will be graded As necessary. <br /> 8. Map attached. <br /> 9. As previously supplied: <br /> (a) Ground water table' 48 felt.--- <br /> (b) Tight clay from top edge of pit to at least 50 foot <br /> in depth, with no sand stratas. This condition is uniform <br /> throughout the pit area. <br /> 10. At present no w4ter� drains off pit kid none drains into <br /> pit, except direct rainwater which ponds;up and evaporates <br /> in a few days after each rain. ' <br /> 11. No leachate . <br /> 12 . 112-foot well exists , and in daily use , near western edge <br /> of pit. Water has remained potable and unaffected by the <br /> dumpsite. <br /> 13 . No decomposition gases have been noted. <br /> 14. Will be sold for appropriately zoned uses . <br /> 15 . California Clay Products Company owner is not presently <br /> using the general area, but has leased the surface area to <br /> Tex McCarty, a civil engineer, who maintains sufficient <br /> supervision over the dumping to see that no improper materials <br /> are dumped, and that adequate intermediate cover is applied. <br /> 16 . Permit by Regional Water Quality Control Board for Class III , <br /> and limited Class II (auto demolition only) dumping, with <br /> adequate intermediate cover to prevent fires . Zone is heavy <br /> industrial to north, south, and east for 1000 feet. Commercial <br /> zone in first 200 feet to west, thereafter Interim :Protective <br /> Agricultural Zoning. <br /> -3- <br />
