Box 2009 <br />Stockton, California 95201 <br />Subject: Cove Contractors Landfill <br />Dear Mr. Sasson: <br />I appreciate the telephone conversation we had on June 3 which provided me with an update <br />on the status of the Cove Contractors Landfill project. As you requested, I want to quickly <br />send out copies of the interim drainage plan and report addendum outline to the individuals at <br />the regulatory agencies that will be in attendance at the upcoming meeting. I plan on sending <br />the documents to the following regulators. I agree with you that it <br />will be a good idea to have Kleinfelder present this plan at the upcoming regulatory meeting. <br />We will explain that it is only an interim drainage plan, and that a different drainage plan will <br />be used when placement of waste is resumed. Once the interim drainage plan is implemented, <br />rainwater runoff will flow across the soil intermediate cover, not contacting waste.
