Mechanical hazards safety directives <br /> include, but are not limited to, the following: <br /> • Verify that all equipment is in good condition. <br /> • If applicable, do not stand near unguarded excavations and trenches. <br /> • If applicable, do not enter excavations or trenches over 5 feet deep that are not <br /> properly guarded, shored or sloped. <br /> • Appropriate guards must be used if equipment has potentially hazardous moving <br /> parts. <br /> • The appropriate PPE (hard hats, goggles, etc) must be worn around all heavy <br /> machinery. <br /> 3.2.7 BIOHAZARDS <br /> Stray animals may be encountered on-Site.
