The Workplan indicates that the suspected cause of the elevated methane readings is from <br /> stranded water located within the Landfill footprint. The Workplan proposes to dewater the stranded water in <br /> Landfill in order to remove the source of the methane. <br /> Based on our review, Closure staff has no objections to the implementation of the proposed Workplan. <br /> Therefore, Closure staff recommends approval of the Workplan. <br /> Should you have any questions or comments concerning the above matter, please contact Diane <br /> Nordstrom-Lamkin or me at(916)341-6448 or(916)341-6289, respectively.
