Chin
Biorecycling Technologies, Inc.
6101 Cherry Avenue
Fontana, California 92336
RE: composting Permit Application for BTI - Manteca Production
Facility, 2403 W. Louise Avenue, Manteca
The Environmental Health Division (EHD) has received and reviewed
the information you submitted on March 31, 1997, to complete your
application for a standardized composting permit for the BTI -
Manteca Production Facility. The application was previously
determined by this Division to be incomplete on February 7, 1997 .
You have satisfied items 11-3 on our February 7, 1997, letter to
BTI. However, the application package is lacking documentation of
approval by the San Joaquin County Solid Waste Task Force or an
equivalent finding to comply with Public Resouces Code, Sections
50000-50002. The above finding is required before this Division
can forward a proposed standardized composting permit to the
California Integrated Waste Management Board as prescribed in the
Regulations.
EHD will begin to conduct a detailed review of the application
package received to date to determine if the facility can comply
with State Minimum Standards and the terms and conditions of a
standardized composting permit.
If you have any questions, contact Greg Oliveira, Senior
R.E.H.S. , of my staff at (209) 468-0341.
Ernest M.
