No active composting at time of inspection. <br /> 2. The manure and shavings from the turkey houses was removed and spread out outside. This is a once a year <br /> process. The pile was approximately 626 cubic yards. Temperature measurements were taken at various points <br /> throughout the pile. The temperature range was 96 F- 115 F. <br /> 3. Inspector called and talked to Norm Nilsen, owner. According to Norm,the pile has been there for about two <br /> weeks and will be removed in about a month. The pile will be sold to a organic tomato farmer located north of <br /> Woodland. <br /> 4. The EHD will monitor the removal process and obtain a copy of the receipt for the selling of the manure. <br />
