This facility in not actively composting because the compost-o-matic is in disrepair due to a fire on May 26, 2013. The <br /> operator Karl Jensen estimates the repair work to be completed in December of this year. <br /> 2.)This facility informed the EHD that all material in the Compost-o-matic bunker will be used as feedstock when the <br /> compost operation re-starts. Photos taken show the compost-o-matic bunker is being used to dry chicken manure. <br /> 3.)Temperatures of finished compost were taken and did not exceed 122 degrees Farenheit. No active compost was <br /> observed onsite. <br />
