3.2.9 TRAFFIC CONTROL <br />Pursuant to 14 CCR, Section 17418.3, traffic flow through the CVWS <br />shall be controlled to prevent interference with or creation of a safety <br />hazard on adjacent public streets or roads, on-site safety hazards and <br />interference with operations. Adequate on-site (off public street) <br />parking for transfer vehicles is provided at the CVWS as shown on <br />Figure 2. <br />The facility is accessed by Turner Road which is accessible by surface <br />streets or Highway 99. Most traffic activity on site occurs from 9:00 <br />a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Traffic flow on site is generally controlled by the <br />scale house attendant who attempts to minimize impacts on adjacent <br />public roads. The traffic flow plan for the facility is shown on Figure 7. <br />3.3 STATION IMPROVEMENTS <br />UNUINIMM <br />In accordance with 14 CCR, Section 17409.1 all roads and driveways at <br />the site are designed and constructed to withstand daily loading and <br />minimize the generation of dust. Pot -holes in the paved surfaces are <br />repaired promptly with a similar material. The surface of the paved areas <br />are conducive to regular thorough cleaning conducted as part of the <br />station's cleaning and housekeeping procedures discussed in Section <br />3.1.2.1 and 3.1.2.3. <br />3.3.2 SANITARY FACILITIES <br />In accordance with 14 CCR, Section 17409.2, sanitary facilities are <br />available for both station personnel and the public at the CVWS. <br />Sanitary facilities are provided just outside the maintenance shop, <br />office, transfer station, MRF and administration building. <br />Central valley waste Services 3-16 <br />Transfer Processing Report <br />Section 3 — 4/24/17 <br />
