The CVWS facility also serves <br />as the location for Temporary Household Hazardous Waste collection events <br />under the auspices of the San Joaquin County Public Works Department <br />Solid Waste Division. <br />4.1.8 CENTRAL VALLEY REGIONAL WATER QUALITY CONTROL BOARD <br />The CVWS is covered under the SWRCB's general stormwater permit for <br />industrial activities as administered by the Central Valley Regional Water <br />Quality Control Board. CVWS manages stormwater through implementation <br />of a site-specific SWPPP which is available upon request. <br />4.1.9 OTHER REGULATORY AGENCY REQUIREMENTS <br />Countywide Integrated Waste Management Plan (CIWMP)/Non-Disposal <br />Facility Element (NDFE) <br />The California Integrated Waste Management Act of 1989 (Public Resources <br />Code Section 40000, seq.) required cities and counties to prepare a plan for <br />their solid waste system known as a CIVVMP. The County of San Joaquin <br />has completed their CIWMP and NDFE.
