CITY OF STOCKTON <br /> PUBLIC NOTICE OF INTENT TO ADOPT A NEGATIVE DECLARATION OR <br /> -- <br /> (Pursuant boPublic Resources Code Sections 21092 and 21092.3and <br /> Cal. Code ufRegulations Title 14. Sections 15072. 15073and 15O87\ | <br /> The City of Stockton Community Development Department has completed,independently reviewed and analyzed <br /> the following Proposed Negative Declaration/Initial Study: <br /> PROPOSED NEGATIVE DECLARATION/INITIAL STUDY FOR THE EAST ST0CKTONRECYCLING AND <br /> TRANSFER STATION PROJECT(P10-365)—The proposed project includes a 1.77-acre expansion of the existing <br /> 4.96-acre ESRTS facilily located at 2435 East Weber Avenue. The existinc <br /> primarily construction and demolition wastes.The expanded facility would accommodate existinq ESRTS recycling <br /> activity, as well as commercial and residential single-stream recycling activity now accommodated at a separate'facility,located at 401 South Lincoln Street in Stockton.The Lincoln Street facility will be closed when the expanded <br /> ESRTS facility is in operation.Permitted recycling activityat the expanded ESRTS facilitywould average 1,000 tons <br /> per day(TPD)with a Maximum allowable daily processing limit of 1,250 TPD The limit on weekly average material <br /> acceptance would be increased from 2,560 to 7,000 tons per week,an the facility would operate 24 hours per day, <br /> seven days.a week. The prolect also includes a new 33,400 square-foot structure located within the existing site <br /> that would accommodate the single-stream recycling facilities relocated from 401 South Lincoln Street. <br /> Entitlements being sought by the project applicant include approval of a Rezone and a Use Permit. The East <br /> Stockton Recycling and Transfer Station project is located west of Filbert Street, on the north and south sides of <br /> East Weber Avenue. The pro'ect site is comprised of Assessors Parcel Numbers 153-180-04,06,08,and 55;153 <br /> A copy of the Draft IS/MND may be reviewed and/or obtained at the following addresses: <br /> Community Development Department or at: <br /> Planning Division <br /> 345North BDorado Street <br /> Stockton, CA 95202 <br />
