I <br />RECEIVED <br />JUL 2 3 1990 <br />ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH <br />PERMIT/SERVICES <br />INSPECTION <br />The California Integrated Waste Management Board (Board) staff <br />conducted an inspection of the Lovelace Transfer Station, Facility <br />No. 39 -AA -0008, on April 24, 1990, pursuant to Division 30, Public <br />Resources Code (PRC), Sections 43303, 43304 and 44105. The Board <br />inspector was Leandro Ramos, Waste Management Specialist. <br />The following violations of CCR were documented during the <br />inspections: <br />14 CCR 17483 - Station Security <br />14 CCR 17535 - Litter <br />In addition, areas of concern were noted with the following <br />sections of CCR: <br />14 CCR 17557 - Station Maintenance Program <br />14 CCR 17512 - Cleanup <br />14 CCR 17534 - Drainage Control <br />va <br />• ft�v 0 qRZO <br />PfjjreTsT,-7= Up P�'11; �i • �'Jff:j pigip* IV W'j <br />Citation: <br />Mr. Ramos observed a television set along with other wastes <br />dumped near the storm drainage pond (north side of the <br />station). This facility needs adequate perimeter barrier on <br />the north side of the station to discourage unauthorized <br />access of persons or vehicles. Also the perimeter fence near <br />the southwest corner of the station (Between the hazardous <br />waste locker and blue container bin) is hanging loose and <br />creating space at the bottom which could be easily accessed <br />by unauthorized persons. I indicated this area to Felipe <br />Lomas (Site Supervisor) . The fence must be repaired to deter <br />unauthorized access. <br />PA <br />
