v <br />14 CCR 17534 - Drainage <br />Citations <br />ICEIVED <br />.,, <br />ENVIRONMENTAL <br />r r r <br />Site Inspector Ramos was told by Rudy Rodriguez (Assistant <br />Civil Engineer) that the storm drainage pond was unlined. Mr. <br />Ramos • • the Regional_ Quality ControlBoard <br />(RWQCB), Central Valley Region and spoke with Bill Marshall. <br />According • Mr. Marshall, the pond - to • - lined. He <br />stated that they will have to evaluate the status of the pond <br />before they can take any action. <br />The Regional Board inspected the site pond and sent <br />correspondence regarding the pond to the County on May 18, <br />1990. <br />The letter requests that liquids discharged to the pond be <br />analyzed during the rainy season to determine if they are " <br />designated wastes". Retrofitting or treatment will then be <br />necessary if designated wastes" are found. <br />The County will comply with the request by the RWQCB staff to <br />have the liquid in the pond analyzed during the rainy season <br />(1990-1991). Collection and sampling will be taken from the <br />pond in the first week of November 1990. If no discharge to <br />the pond has occurred by then, sampling will be taken during <br />the next rainfall that produces a discharge to the pond. The <br />County agrees to comply with any corrective actions required <br />by the RWQCB over this issue.
