HISTORY (Lovelace Road) 5/23/62 UP No. 2239 FORWARD, INC. , Garbage Transfer Station approved subject to standard conditions 12/70 or 1/71 Fire occurred which gutted the building and left only the concrete walls standing. . 3/23/72 Use Permit No. U-72-237 approved 3/23/72 by Board of Zoning Adjustment "to enlarge existing refuse transfer transfer station" subject to standard conditons and 4) Approval of Local Health District 5) Department of Public Works a. Paving to be of concrete. b. Approval as to length of wall to be replaced and the new wall. 6) Building Department a. Complete structure to be designed by an engineer. 7) Planning Department a. Landscape plan to be approved. b. Color of walls to be approved. 3/14/75 Petition from neighbors received complaining about conditions at the transfer station. 3/9/73 Use Permit No. U-72-237 became void (one year after date of approval) . 4/10/75 Board of Zoning Adjustment discussed petition. Continued to allow staff to work with applicant on problems. 4/24/75 Forward, Inc. filed Use Permit No. U-76-80 for a 121x40' mobile office in conjunction with existing refuse transfer station. 6/12/75 Board of Zoning Adjustment granted Use Permit and modified UP 2239 subject to standard conditions and: 5) Mobile office is approved for two (2) years only. 6) The walls of the existing structure are to be repaired within a period of time or be removed. 7) Hours of operation to be from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and open to the public from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ; if there is an emergency, operation bours' may be extended. 8) If the structure is not repaired or replaced, the matter is to be reviewed again by the Board of Zoning Adjustment. 10/31/75 Enforcement letter sent Forward, Inc. concerning expansion of facility - storage of equipment to rear of station on adjoining parcel. Advised of use permit and parcel map procedure.
